Championships

The Swiss Parkour Championships invites the whole Swiss Parkour community to Basel.
The best parkourists from switzerland will compete against each other in various competitions.
The big indoor parkour park of the Overground Basel will be extended with an outdoor parkour course. Consequently, there will always be the possibility to jam together at this event as well.

Sleepover Note: For overnight stays different parts of the Overground indoor area can be used. Persons staying overnight in the Overground must bring a camping mat and a sleeping bag.
Competition Infos
Three different competition formats will be held at the Swiss Parkour Championships: Speed, Skill and Freestyle.
Adults
Registration:
People who buy an event ticket that entitles them to participate in the qualifiers, which will take place on Saturday, will receive a registration link by mail a few days before the event.
The Mail will also include a more detailed competition proceedure.
Competition Descriptions:
Speed-Competition:
The speed competition is a form of competition in which the participants have to cross a competition course in the shortest possible time. At least one start and finish point are defined, as well as checkpoints placed in between.
Skill-Competition:
The skill competition is a form of competition in which the participants have to master various parkour movement challenges. The competition area contains several stations where challenges have to be performed. The evaluation takes place on the basis of the number of mastered challenges under inclusion of the attempts used for it or within a given time frame.
Freestyle-Competition:
The freestyle competition is a form of competition in which the participants present a parkour run and a parkour combo in the given competition area. The parkour run and combo will be judged in the areas: difficulty, execution and complexity.
Qualifying Procedure:
In each Final Competition 10 women and men will compete against each other.
There are three different possibilities to qualify for a final competition:
Overall winner of the Women and Men division of the SPT 2022 are qualified for every final competition.
Both Winner, in the Women and Men category, stated that they are not able to participate in the finals.- The winner of the Women and Men division of a preparation event that takes place before the Swiss Parkour Championships are qualified for the final competition of the particular preperation event.
- The 8 best of each competition at the Swiss Parkour Championships seperated in the Women and Men Division are qualified for the final competition in the particular competition category.
Adjustment: Freestyle Qualifier 10 / Skill Qualifier 9 / Speed Qualifier 9
It is possible to get qualified for more than one final competition.
